Professor: Editing the correct answer after a question has been asked

Imagine the scene - you’re in class, you’ve launched a Top Hat question, your students have responded, and then when you reveal the correct answer you realized that you made an error when you created the question and that’s not the correct answer! Not to worry, it’s easy to edit the correct answer even after the question has been asked, and your students grades will be adjusted accordingly automatically!

When you realize the error in class we recommend letting your students know right away, and informing them that you’ll correct the error when you return to your office after class. You can choose to leave the grading as is, or you can zero out the correctness grade if you’d prefer.
