Professor: Editing a Previously Created Question (New Top Hat)
We’ve made making changes or edits to a Top Hat question that you’ve previously created incredibly easy, because let’s be fair, even the best of us make spelling errors! To edit a question, click on the title of the question you’d like to edit to access it in your preview window. Once displayed, click where it says Edit in the upper right hand corner to give you access to the question creation framework once again.
With the exception of the anonymity of the question, you can edit any of the elements. Should you have made an error in your anonymity selection when creating your question initially you’ll simply want to recreate the question ensuring the anonymity is set the way you wish. More on anonymous response questions can be found here: Professor: Anonymous Questions (New Top Hat)
When you are happy with your changes to sure to click Save to ensure your edits are retained. Any changes you made to the identified correct answer or grading will even be applied retroactively to questions previously asked. This is especially great if you accidentally set the wrong answer as correct, as you simply need to edit the question to reflect the actual correct answer and your students grades will be reassigned accordingly!
