Professor: Resending Invitations to your Course
Let's be honest, sometimes students need a little nudging or gentle reminding early in the semester. We understand that and have thus made it incredibly easy for you to resend invitations to your students.
Most professors experience success sending out the first batch of invitations about 2 weeks before their first day of classes, then again 1 week out, the first day of classes, and a few days after they have met with the students.
For instructions on sending the initial batch of student invitations please see here: Professor: Inviting Students to Join your Top Hat Course
To resend invitations, click the Student button located along the top of your Top Hat course. This will take you into the Student Manager and you’ll want to ensure you’re on the Pending page.
The Pending page contains the list of student email addresses who have been added to your Top Hat course, but who have not yet enrolled in your course. You can re-send invitations to individual students by clicking on the green Invite button corresponding to the student, or clicking the blue Email all button to send invitations to all students remaining on the Pending list. Be sure to confirm the resend request to ensure your students are sent another email invitation!
You can keep track of how many email invitations you've sent to your students under the MESSAGES SENT and LAST MESSAGE SENT columns.
