Student: Completing Your Mobile Registration

Don't have a Top Hat account for the first day of class? No worries! Just download our Android or iOS app for your mobile device and click on "Create Account". This will give you a temporary 7 day account.

To continue using Top Hat after the 7 day period, go to  to complete your account registration process.

As the 7 day trial subscription expiration approaches you'll want to apply a paid subscription to your Top Hat account. There is no need to create a new Top Hat account, you'll simply want to upgrade your account to add a subscription. In fact, if you want your grades to carry over you'll want to ensure you do not create a second account!

To begin, login to your Top Hat account using the same account credentials you used to create the 7 day free trial. At the top of your screen you will be provided with a prompt letting you know that your trial subscription will be expiring, and from this window click Pay Now.

This will walk you through the remainder of the account registration process (personal details, student ID, phone number) followed by the purchase of an account subscription.
