Professor: Removing Students from your Course
Enrolled Students List
On occasion you may have students enrol in your Top Hat course and then later drop the class. Top Hat makes it easy for you to remove students such as these from you course. In order to do this, simply click on the Students tab within your course to access your Student Manager and then select Enrolled and this will display for you a list of all students currently enrolled in your course.
Next, either scroll through the list of the students or use the search field to locate the student or students you wish to remove, check the box to the left of the students' username, and click then click Disenroll.
A message will pop up to confirm the removal of the selected student(s).
Pending Students List
You can also remove students from your Pending Students list. In order to do this, simply click on the Students tab within your course to access your Student Manager and then select Pending and this will display for you a list of all student email addresses who have been added to your course, but are not yet enrolled. Identify the students you'd like to remove and place a checkmark in the box next to their email addresses, then click Delete. There will be no confirmation of removal from this list.
